Mac OS X Snow Leopard (version 10.6) is released on August 28, 2009.
Version 10.6.1 was available to update in September 10, 2009 and already version 10.6.2 is developed. (not available to general public yet).
I installed it and I noticed that the starting up time is much faster than Tiger.
